As an educator I believe that it is our duty to teach our students how to apply the skills that they learn in the classroom to the world around them. I want to provide an environment that is not only stimulating for my students but is also practical to their development as well. To do that I want to plan activities for my students that focus on a bigger picture idea. I think that students learn best when they are able to practice the skill in a setting that is relevant to them. One goal I have as an educator is to make learning possible for all of the students in my classroom and I believe that by making learning applicable it will help students that are usually left behind succeed in the classroom because they will be able to connect with the content.
